ok just figured out how to open the shed you have to go in the sandbox and get the door knob out then you can use the keys under the mat

The chaching you hear during the game, is one of your adults earning money. They don't have to be at their career location to earn money. AND, a nursing mother still earns her salary.

You have to get the door knob out of the sand box, fix the shed door with the found door knob, open the shed and there you will find fire extingishers (not spelled correctly .... sorry), the key is under the door mat, after your person gets the fire extingisher he/she will put out the fire.

I see you get a trophy for praising someone for putting out the smoking oven. I did this, but it didn't register. Unsure why this is. I have noticed that bugs seem to be really rare, but they seem to really come out during the rain, so look for them at this point if you are trying to get all of them. I'm having some fun. It's definitely a game that just grows on you and I love how they don't need a ton of attention from you. I just leave it running while watching the boob tube and occasionally give it some attention.

Oh, energy. I've noticed that if you leave it on overnight and then open the game up in the morning (don't pause it) you have a lot more energy. Hope that helps!!!

just figured out how to put out the oven fire, thanks to you guys. My problem is, my 2 won't have kids. lol should i buy the pregnancy potion? He deffinately wants kids, and she said it would be nice. thought that would be close enough for them

just keep trying I have had two that didn't want kids at all and they ended up with six, but do give the some time in between tries or the will tell you its to soon. there is also an adoption event that pops up randomly.

if you do try the baby boost only use it once it can lose its potency if used to much, says so in the description.

i just kept putting the guy on girl and vice versa, eventually they went for privacy, as you all say this game gets addicting. the only thing i cant figure out is work. when i put them on computer it says they are searching the web. how do i get them to work

Try dropping them on the deskspace between the computers instead of directly on to the computers. If that doesn't work, maybe they don't have computer jobs...? Try the kitchen and workshop.

it depends what their job is. there are 3 work ares the kitchen the den and the workshop, I suggest trying each one until it says they are working on their careers, and then praising them for their work, then they should just start doing it themselves.

Of course I just keep dropping them there so I can have extra money.

The plus side is they earn their daily salary no matter what, but the more they work the quicker they advance.

mom will still earn her daily salary, she just won't get any bonuses.

I had to teach my little family to sleep. For a while they wouldn't sleep and I'd come back hours after putting them to bed and closing the game to find they were still exhausted. Then I started putting them into their beds whenever I saw they were tired or exhausted and praising them each time (until they told me to quit nagging anyway). Now when I look in on them they're usually well rested and at worst not feeling fresh.

I have one question though.. Why do my people's promotions come with a DECREASE in salary so often? I thought promotions would cause (sometimes small) increases in salary, but about half the time my people's salaries are cut by 25% or more when they get promoted...

i bought the floor repair, but forgot to read about it 1st. any help with how to use it?

never mind, i figured it out. seems you need 1 kit for each repair

Yeah, that's a bummer, too, waiting for the stuff to show up in the store.

For exhausted peeps, buy fruit or candy. Also put them in their beds to sleep. This may take a couple of tries.

When it comes to the sinks (bath & kitchen) if you praise them when they wave at you, they will automatically go to the workroom and get the wrench.

Is there any way to get the wall of the workshop cleaned up? It looked dirty to start with and got worse when one of my children decided to draw on it. I bought a wall repair kit, but it doesn't seem to work on the dirty wall...
