Peeps sleep best at night. The time of day in the game is set to be the same as your time of day. So, first, make sure it's dark outside.

If you can't play when it's dark outside, there is an options button on the menu and you can choose to swap day and night.

Second, peeps sleep better if they are not being watched. Once you have green-gloved your peeps for "going to bed", then wait until they are all asleep and QUIT the game for at least a couple hours, if not more. Don't pause the game, just quit - go tend to a different family, come visit the forums, whatever.

Whenever you "interrupt" by going back into a night-time game, your peeps will get up and do night-time activities like looking at stars, listening to nature, browsing the internet (lol), getting some water...they will normally go back to bed after that, but in the meantime they've lost some sleep and used a little energy. So it's best not to interrupt them for 2-8 hours (real time) once you've bedded them down for the night.

A lot of this game is about patience

You have to buy a water pump and then it takes two of your adults to put it together.

First you have to purchase the birdbath pump from the store. Next, place it next to the birdbath. Then you need to drag 2 adult peeps to the birdbath. They will lift it up together, fix it, and then celebrate. Then you would get the birdbath trophie.

At the store, in the medicine section, there is a stethoscope. That is a doctor consultation. $175. Just drag it on one of your peeps and the doctor will send an email with a diagnosis and a prescribed medication. Hope this helps!!

For fires, there are a lot of other posts in this forum on the several steps needed to put them out. Look for any topic on fires - the answer is the same no matter which fire it is. :-)

When the kids draw on the workshop wall, how do you get that off? I see once in awhile you can buy wall compound, but I didn't know if that was the remedy or not? If it is, how do you mix IT with water? lol HELP :-)

Yes there is. By dropping 2 peeps on the object next to each other they both will pick it up getting paid twice. If it is an item you don't have thats cool, they will put all items in the box but you will get paid for the 2nd and 3rd or the 2nd if they fail to pick-up 3. I've come up with a way to get them a third time. It's in the timing and the placement of the peeps. When you spot an object pause the game. Pick 1 peep and drop it on the edge of the object(the shadow in the white circle), next drop the other 2 peeps close by. Pick up peep no. 2 and hold it next to the 1st one. Unpause the game and quickly drop #2, then pick up peep no. 3 and drop it behind the other 2. Most of the time all 3 will pick up the object, 75% of the time. The key to getting 3 objects is not to drop peep no. 3 on top of the other 2. Worse case only 1 will pick it up, but for me 99% 2 will pick it up. This also works in all 3 of the Virtual Villager games, including the mushrooms. It does require some practice. So practice on the less valuable ones. Makes for accumilating tech points, food and money a bit quicker

Yes you have to buy the wall repair kit. You place it by the hose (the one by the sandbox) then drag an adult to it and they will fill up the bucket and mix the compund then take it over to the workshop wall. You HAVE to watch them do this repair as they will leave several times before it is finished and the compound will dry up and you will have to wait for more to pop up in the store. I put all of mine who are of age to work on it to get it done faster. Just make sure you watch them complete it.

Also instead of having to clean up after the kids writing on the wall. If you notice one of them going to write on the wall, take the red glove and swat them with it, they will then run away you can also give them a piece of disgusting cany if you have one to discourage bad behavior

Well, this is based on real life, so they won't always have one..or three. It will take a while.
