I too bought this right away. I also replay the first one (in tour mode) over and over. It's very relaxing to just madly click away. I love the maginfying gl**** -- the one main beef I have with the first game is too many extremely small objects. And this one has the same type.

It took playing the first one a couple of times to memorize that the brown unrecognizable blob in the corner on the boat scene is the lobster. Now I need to remember that the small yellow blob in the tree top is the frog, in the backwoods (or whoever he is) scene.

guess the censor did not like my gla-s-s

I played the free hour and really liked it.Some of the games lately have been to easy or so dark and depressing scenes that I get annoyed. So to me this is a nice change.I would prefer mini-games in between but will settle for cleaning things

The "turn the trash into decor" idea is great - a way to actually use some of the items we pick up. What drives me nuts is that so much of it involves dragging over large areas of the screen, which hurts my wrist.

I love the cheerful, amusing scenes. I play games that have spooky scenes, but prefer the cheerful cartoony type ones.

Me too. The dark scenes just make it even harder to see the tiny objects.

LOLOLOL!!! Sure it doesn't like it, you write bad words like gl-a-s-s...
(magnifier was better word)

I wonder how the censor will react reading "massive"...

Edit: Eh? No reaction??

Well I've noticed that sometimes what passes the first time round gets caught when someone else qotes it. Let's see.

Edit - nope it 'passed' that time too. (So did passes and passed - what happens if I try glass again?

(sorry this got off topic)

I had to update my video driver to get it to play without crashing. Since I updated I've been playing about 3 hours, so I think it's o.k. now.

I like this game, really!!!

But -

Please BF team - issue a patch without all the fireworks!!!

You know, that each CD Rom contains a warning about the blinking screens: some people can have an epilepsy attack, and some can faint. There is a suggestion, to sit in distance from the screen, and to play in Windows mode.

Most of us have big screens, and the objects are small, so we are forced to get closer, in order to find them. Even with the magnifier I am forced to get closer.
After each chapter, my eyes burn, and sometimes I get a headache.

Outstanding fireworks, I enjoy look at them - but not when I am playing. My eyes need a rest.

Have a pity on us... [the usual bribe]

That particular error is usually a problem with a video driver. Customer Support will ask you to run Dr Felix, and they will be able to look at that report and then tell you where to go to get an updated video driver.

LordKalvan is right. It's your video driver. I was getting the same error. I had to update my video driver & the problem went away. The Help FAQ page has instructions on updating your drivers, or contact CS they're good at helping. But there won't be a "fix" for the access violation - because it's not caused by the game, it's caused by your outdated video driver. (well I think it's all that moving and flashing and fireworks in the game - but....)

Got both of the Yard Sales games last night. Love the first one so far. The "to do" things are a bit tedious, but the rest is great.

How did they find my neighborhood??
