I downloaded and installed this game on the 15th and it isn't working for me. I even tried to set my close back acouple of days but that doesn't work either. So I guess it only works if you downloaded and installed it before the 15th.

I was thinking about buy this game also but sure glad that I didn't

OK I was experiencing the very same problem. I did defrags-uninstalled and reinstalled the game and game console even clone my hard drive to an earlier time...nothing worked.

I HAVE AN ANSWER TO THE PROBLEM. Go to the Big Fish Game Console and uninstall the game from there. The trash can to the right of the game just click on it That will uninstall the game.

Then go to the original download site (NOT YOUR PURCHASE HISTORY INSTALL OPTION.)

Go to where you download it for an hour free play. It is on the Home Page right now. Download like a new game. Click on download icon and let it download and install into your game console. It will automatically activate as a paid for game if you purchased it.

After I did this my game works fine. I don't know how long it will last but I've been playing the game all night without a problem.

Have the same problem, I emailed tech support and haven't heard anything. Nice to know it is something with the game and not my computer.

I actually did this too and it didn't work for me, glad it did for you though

I am having the same problem with Sunnyville as everyone else, I click to start playing and the exit box comes up and says thanks for playing. I know whatever is wrong Big Fish Games will make it right. This company is the best ever in making sure the customer is satisfied. I am saying this to those who are worried about losing their money.

It sure is disappointing to not be able to play my new game though. Hope the glitch can be worked out.

Im in Australia, and I also had this problem. Downloaded the trail, then brought the game & haven't been able to play since. That was on the 15th. Emailed Tech support, still waiting for a response.. Glad To know wasn't only person having problems....

Per post from BFG Host, fix has been implemented and new version of game is in place. Uninstall and redownload and all should be well.

I recieved 2 emails for big fish saying sorry for the problems I was having with the game . I didn't even know there was a problem until i read emails. I tried to play but get the same screen "Thanks for playing". Strange how Big Fish knew before I did at least I thought it was until I read this forum below is the email from big fish sent today

I had the same problem and I did all the rebooting and all the same things. Then I finally had the computer turn itself off and close all the other open applications that was running that I didnt know about, and then went into the screen that tells you to uninstall a game, which I did, then after it was completely gone, I went back and reinstalled it, and I have been playing it just fine for the last several hours. I dont know why it froze up like it did, but mine did the same thing that everyone has said theirs did but now it works fine.

Hello everyone!

I experienced the same problem last night but assumed it was my computer playing up. It was pretty late so I just shut the machine down with an intention of investigating the problem this morning.

BFG were too quick for me, an email was waiting with the solution and I have uninstalled the game and am about to redownload.

From now on I'll check this forum before tampering with my computer.

Thanks Big Fish and all you li'l fishies.

Well I just DL'd it for the first time about 30 minutes ago, and immediately encountered issues. By their e-mail, this should have been resolved for new DL'ers... at least in my opinion. I wanted to try it before I used a game credit on it. Not knowing what to do, and after trying repeatedly, I "trashed" and went and re-DL'd it. I wish I could say it worked, but it didn't. Then I came on here and read about the clock trick... that didn't work either. And then I read their e-mail. So I read everything on their page about uninstalling and re-installing, and treid *again*... STILL nothing NOT happy!! I sent an e-mail, but I'd be intrested to know if anyone else is still having the same issues?? OR found that their solution did not work?

I still have issues and can't even download the trial. This game has major issues and in spite of BF sending out an e-mail saying the problem (s) have been resolved they haven't.

I have a tech request in also and am waiting in response.

In the meantime they should pull the game OFF of their site until it works correctly.

i have had this problem with a few games. most notably Nancy Drew and the Legend of the Crystal Skull. there was a MAJOR glitch in the BFG download version. i always get games here because im a game club member, so 6.99 beats 19.99 anywhere. but i get really annoyed that the games have glitches that OTHER SITES do not have.

my game already doesn't work.

I received today an email from BF with "help". I followed the hints. I deinstalled the game und downloaded it once more.

I tried different ways of deinstalling.

But it already doesn't work.

I already got following message:

Error: Access violation at 0x004501B7 (tried to read from 0x00000020), program terminated

HELP

I posted this on another thread, so I apologize if some of you are seeing this twice. If you're still encountering problems with this or ANY game from BFG, my advice would be to attach your dxdiag file in your original e-mail to tech support, that way they'll have all of your computer diagnostics right in front of them and can pinpoint the problem much more easily. If you don't know how to access your dxdiag file, simply click "Start", then "Run", and type "dxdiag" and hit enter. Once it comes up, save it to your desktop or documents. Good luck to all of you, I know how frustrating it can be, but this is how I finally got the help I needed when I was encountering problems.

I keep getting this message ever time that I try to play the game Yard Sale Hidden Treasures: Sunnyville. Error(Accessviolation at 0x004501B1( TRIED TO READ FROM X00000020 ) program teriminates. I have uninstalled and reinstalled 2 times and it has not helped at all . HELP PLEASE
