I have been playing HOG games for about 3 yrs.. This game was just too easy & no challenge.. won't be buying this one either. i guess the adventur HOG games spoiled me. I like the challenge..

Ok, I'm going to come across as almost as whining and negative as the main character in this game, but I want to add my opinion, just as I would add positive comments to a game which I enjoyed.
Firstly, I found the slowness of items going into the inventory really annoying, especially in the magnifying glass scenes. I found myself still clicking on things after everything had been found, only to realise that I had actually finished with that scene and it was just taking its time to close. Added to that, I also found that I was clicking on items randomly without even looking at the required objects list. No penalty, no interest IMO.
Secondly, it was really irritating that, having successfully completed a mini game, I was trying to see what else I needed to do, only to realise that I had to close the dialogue box before it would allow me to progress.
The last thing I would like to add is that, on the third 'get the matchstick, matchbox and light the lantern (yawn), I did exactly that, but accidentally clicked, probably too quickly, on the magnifying glass scene (the bag), which took me to that. When I had found all the objects in there and was returned to the room, the lantern had failed to light and the matchstick and matchbox had disappeared from the inventory. I therefore found myself in a completely dark room, and was clicking madly in the hope that I would find something through sheer luck. Maybe this is a glitch, but it certainly reinforced my decision that this game is one to be avoided at all costs. I would rather replay other HOGs that I have already purchased. I give it a massive

As stated in my review, I chose not to buy.

Downloaded this game from a different website and it didn't chuck me out after 1 hour so got to play the full game. Wish I hadn't bothered. Took me under 2 hours to finish (seemed much longer) with reading all the dialogue, and there was a lot of it. Less than half way through I was hoping she'd just jump overboard.
No challenge at all. Not sure if it qualifies as an HOG if the items aren't actually hidden. Mini games very easy and repetitive.
Only reason I carried on playing is because I hate quitting anything, but really should have made an exception with this one.

I was very bored but bought it anyway. I was irritated by having to move my cursor up to "close" in every chapter. I agree with everyone else who thought it is a very good game for a beginner hogger. Hey, they can't all be Ravenhurst.

Very boring! No Challenge! Items were not identified and I could not tell what I was picking up. Skip this one and save your money!
