I actually stopped two other games to stay focused on sunken secrets. So I managed the game to level 81 within 3 months.
Imho mostly a lack of patience is the reason why people underrate the game. Be more patient as well as manage the game in the way that you are able to obtain the necessary ressources. Eg use machines overnight to produce goods which are time expensive. Take your time to collect magic (produce it overnight too) and avoid loss of pearls. Sell goods before go to sleep. These are sold on the next morning. Use your diver as much as you can. Use your magic for fountains. I can collect every 3-4 hours approx. 4000 of magic for the diver.
A good management of the game seems essential for me. Patience is the magic word.
So I would rate the game at least with 8/10.
Reg,
Olg

Since the last update the game feels really unbalanced. I end up with tons of magic I can do nothing with if I'm not diving, even doing only panda runs gives me max of 5-6 green stones a day with the balloons, and amber and basalt are a lot less available than before. I need to do a "dry run" on an underground island to even know how many leaf stones I need to have.
Even if I am diving, I usually have far more magic than I can use. I also end up with a lot more gold than I can spend once my store had enough slots.
Suggestions:
Let us buy Amber and basalt again from the wizard in the balloon.
Make the blue stones reverse engineerable into 3 green stones.

Hi there,
I want to pop in here and let players know that I've gone ahead and passed along the contents of this thread to the appropriate teams. I can definitely understand wanting more ways to obtain amber and basalt bits within the game. If the Moderation Team is aware of any changes, we will be sure to update the Forums. In the meantime, players can obtain amber and basalt bits by completing requests from the villagers, taking dives with the Deep Diver, and purchasing these items in the marketplace. Green leaf stones can be obtained from balloons as well as villager requests. If you find that items aren't being received, you are welcome to reach out to our Customer Support Team with your player ID.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.

The game is made much harder, many parts that were the source of joy are no longer accessible. Most of it goes back to the inability to go for a shallow dive.
1. Villagers seem to have stopped offering pearls.
2. There is no reasonable way to obtain amber.
3. There is no reasonable way to obtain basalt.
4. There is no reasonable way to obtain paper slots.
5. The boxes that expand inventory are much harder to come by.
6. Pearls are extremely rare.
Most of the above could be fixed by returning the shallow dive, along with the loot it was bringing.
7. Spending pearls has not been remedied at all. During popping baloons, I've just wasted 3 pearls by speeding up production.
Also accidentally tapping any machine twice speeds up the production, wasting pearls.
8. It might be helpful if we knew how many islands are underwater. It would give players a goal to work for. This information will eventually be discovered anyway... if anyone is still playing at the time.
Normally, as time passes, games are made easier to keep new players interested. Here we see the reverse: old players have everything, new players have no chance. If the game is meant to continue, it needs to be changed.
Quote for truth.
I'm over lvl 70 now, have over 8,000 magic-limit, am pretty far on the castle, an update I loved. But now, with the diving to underwater islands, I have no way to get amber and basalt, except for the orders from the villagers, once a day.
Because I really dislike the Balloons, I never did them, only when they brought basalt and amber back.

Victoria, I agree with all the points you make. The building of the palace, the recent event with the stone fragments, and especially the underwater areas are dangerous oaths for new players to follow. The resources they take are needed to open all island areas and upgrade buildings to increase magic.
Higher level players aren't really winning here, either. There are virtually no achievements left with which to earn pearls. Once buildings are upgraded, there's little else to work toward. I've set my personal goals, but sending balloons and stocking my market all day aren't much of a challenge. Within a month, I'll have met my 1,000,000 coin goal, my 100 of each stone goal, and my 1,000 storage goal. I could do the underwater islands, but frankly, they're boring. I could play any pop 3 game and find it more interesting.
At level 110, I don't remember the last time I got more than a pearl for leveling up, although it now takes over 55,000 XP to do so. I need 45 of each type of box to get 29 more spaces. I'd love the have the reward if additional achievements, more farm plots, etc.
The game's current structure is detrimental to newer players and has nothing to offer high level players. Constantly expressed concerns have been ignored. I really wish I had a clue what the developers were thinking, as it might make me more patient with the process.

This game is a lot of until it is not. It moves along relatively quickly until you get to about level 12 then it wants real money. I paid $30 in real money and yet it isn't enough to get me to level 15 where I need to be in order to use my magic again. I think they are overly greedy in their design of the game. I have done many requests and still do not have enough rope to upgrade my storage. I refuse to pay more money for storage. The game is fun but it is very costly to play and it is geared towards paying more than it gives you rewards you can use to advance.
