Ok, I am stuck, how do you KEEP the musical instruments in your inventory????
I click on them, they are in my inventory, but as soon as I exit the book, they VANISH!!! What's up with that???

When you are in the book with the instruments, click them all into your inventory. Then while you are still in the book, you have to place each instrument beside the best description for it.
As each instrument is placed correctly it will show the instrument in the book. If you place one and the description does not match it will go black in color. Click it back into your inventory and try another spot.
When all of the books are in the correct positions the names of the instruments will change. They will be weird names. Kind of like what Dr. Seuss would name them. Then exit the book.
When you go back upstairs the instruments will be on the floor. Click each one into your inventory again. Choose each music stand score and it will tell you the weird name of the instrument that goes in that chair. If you can’t remember all those weird names, and who can, just try different instruments in the chairs. If the instrument is correct it will begin to play. If not you will have to put it back into your inventory and try another.

yes i am still playing this game i have played others in between cant seem to find the walkthrough on this can you help

One is on the main floor behind a picture on the left wall.
One is upstairs on the bottom right side leaning against the entrance to the room near the steps.
One is upstairs in the close up view of the gramophone on the middle shelf on the right.

Thank you Lizzie for the help with the disc. Now I am stuck on placing the scores on thestands. How many pieces of the score am I supposed to have. I am really enjoying this game a lot.

I'll send you a message with a link to a series of 6 pictures that show the locations of all the pieces for the music room. The pieces are in different places in subsequent plays so look at both sets of photos and check all the places that I have marked.

I got the pictures that you sent me. Now I have to figure out how to get the music scores on the stands. I really feel like I am too old to be playing these games but I really enjoy them.
