Trav3lbird: thank you. I did not think I could do that 113.3 level ever. So I will take your advice and re play 87 to get resources to convert into green gems. I am on 120 now so nearly thru Rome.
I will write to the customer services about inadvertent purchases too, to keep the pressure on.

Mangoban you know you can trade resources for gems in any city you have finished except Sydney and if you look at the thread on the first page called "best places to earn resources " then you might be able to use lots of other cities to get those gems!

Trav3bird: thank you so much for this advice. I did not know this. I have now thanks to you, replayed Rome 87 and got enough for the green gems. Also Tokyo 45 and 107 as previously suggested and earned coins as well!!!

What amuses me is the pricing of the "specials".
As there is no intrinsic value to any of the items in the game, ie. no marketplace to determine the worth of a coin for example, the programmers can set the initial cost at any amount they want. Then they cut this imaginary costs by 50% and call it a "sale."
Tough to justify on a fixed-income.

If players could sell each other excess coins or resources, or even trade with each other, then a true "cost" might be established. That would be fun and add a special zing to the game. I have 3,000,000 extra pink gems in Rome but need bricks in Rio. You are the opposite. Voila a market is born.

I love the idea of trading resources, I have millions of bricks and blues in Sydney and can only sell them once a day or ship a max of 15000 at a time! I would love to trade them for some pinks for Havana right now! Actually it always amazes me that as I finish a city I seem to have heaps of blues and pinks left and very few bricks yet you would think bricks would be the extras as you are earning them all the time......

The further you get on the more expensive the "helping hands" become! I am on level 108 in Havana and I have 4 HH sitting there to use if necessary (and I am certain it will be) and the total cost of those 4 is $1550 coins!!! which of course I don't have right now so I will have to go hunting for coins and it doesn't get easier for those either. I am ready for that drink Neena!!

I have found, more I advance, more costly! Like life! Buying boosts-a MUST to get thru (just game coins mind ya), some need 10 extra moves and those gall-darned timed levels!! I am clawing my way slowly thru the delta.@ NO 79..how many levels, anyway? .I don't want to burn those last brain cells on a game.....first survey the level, 2nd to see if I can make score, 3rd attempt try to finish the x%!s?-@* level.. 0 LIVES LEFT! (TRADING/GIFTING SOUNDS GREAT ) ".. lining up the rounds, guys n dolls, come on up...don't stampede gang....one at a time.. ON ME....Come on, now or neva, last call..!"

Neena: You can do it, if I made it thru (very slowly like you) then anyone can.
It takes patience, shipping resources time after time, and a faith that one time the
gummy gods will line-up everything just right. I finished Rio last night and am on to St. Petersburg. I had a level I could just not finish, then I did with 25 moves to spare.

The good news is that NO is definitely the hardest level I have encountered. It gets somewhat easier after NO. Be aware that gem requirements go up exponentially, it takes 75 to finish Rio. Bank those resources in Rome 87. I have millions in every resource sitting there for future needs. Thank Goodness you can by-pass the need to get all 10 "whatevers" by buying gems.

Yes NO was very difficult, I think I only got about 8 master builder levels so goodness only knows how I got through as I never spend real money! Currently fighting with the ice in Havana where level 110 has me stalled and apprehensive as to what resources I am going to need to build the next monument so it looks like back to earlier cities to earn lots of dosh! Keep those drinks cold for me Neena!:-)

T-Bird and Snow....you are Gems!...(not green or pinks) lol.. always there to help out, passing on Gummy Knowledge! It's funny, I read the forum and have that ahh ha moment regularly....finding out vital info, not found elsewhere. I will get thru NO and leave my mark, thanks to many! ....many timed levels, far too many for me! I've MS and trying to stop on the "button" or place a gummy is comical at times. (swear again.. ) I spend more coins inadvertently as I mean too! INSANITY! Mango get me a "pass this level/city" boost while you're contacting... I could really use one!.. "Mojitos anyone"...esp since T's in Cuba & S fini-Rio
"Double 'em"

Ha ha Neena, if I was a gem I think I would be purple, looks good with grey hair! I just had a go at the daily deal and managed to win 30 coins and lost my 5 lives so it is going to be a tricky one to earn the gold rush and I soooo need those coins! I upgraded to sel 6 resources so hopefully they are expensive ones today!

Yeah!! I have escaped from Havana albeit with not much money left in the bank unfortunately, it was a very expensive city!! Now in Rio where I need to accumulate funds to buy the blues to build yet again! If only I could transfer a block of them from earlier cities.....

Congrats Tbird. Rio is not too bad....and St. Petersburg (after 40 levels) appears to be fairly simple, like the earlier cities. It is fun to play and not too frustrating. I finished all 40 levels in
about two days, great for me.

Hey---my scratch ticket gave me 300 coins today--by far the best I ever won.
Anyone else?

OK Neena, we can be Thelma and Louise! Trouble is that Snow is in St Perersburg now and I'm not fond of snow (on the ground that is) and we would be obliged to drink vodka of course... some expert planning required to commit the heist obviously we should recruit famvir! I never play casino(s) too much Scottish blood in my heritage though it regularly fights with the Irish side which would like to gamble occasionally!

T-bird we will plot, plan and pull off this caper! Hope there's not a Gummy Prisom but am sure we'll probably end up there....Lol.. I've been thinking about how many coins I am spending for boost that are "required" to win a level.... I USED to get a shovel from chest every now and then but lately nada-maybe 1500 pinks... as we progress shouldn't we be allotted-win the REQUIRED boost since rules state basically everything required to advance is no charge/furnished.... Really... This game has changed, .... Give me BOOST! LOTS!

I will be waiting for you in Rio, Neena! Have to get all the stupid hat things between levels 21 and 30 to get 2million blues and no helping hands for this one! Either that or I just sit for a week shipping them. Why oh why when we have left millions WHICH WE HAVE EARNED in earlier cites can we not use them?? Very unhappy about this right now.....
