Azada - Voodoo Page

[Post New]by itsgrandma on Sep 26, 08 6:49 AM
cesse47 wrote:itsgrandma, pretty much the same here ... but just slightly different. Do all of the steps except the voodoo doll paper ... I did that last. I did all the steps listed. Clicked and got the pins and clicked them onto the shapes on the paper on the right. Then I clicked on the voodoo doll paper and clicked it onto the boiling cauldron. Then I clicked on the voodoo picture on the left and it popped up in a circle. Then clicked on the pins stored in the inventory panel. When I clicked onto the picture it was in this order:
-- click on hand of doll on your right
-- click on crotch/bellybutton area
-- click on hand of doll on your left
..
that should do it. good luck

HURRAY!!!!!!!!!! AS I JUMP UP AND DOWN AROUND THE ROOM. Thank you to all you nice people who have tried to help me with this page in Azada. I've finally managed to complete the Voodoo room. I'd almost given up and deleted the game from frustration and thought I'd give it one more try. I do so hate things beating me. AND I DID IT!!! What's even better - I don't think it was merely luck, I think I now know where I was going wrong. So ............ in case anyone else is driven nearly crackers by this page I'll explain.

I had picked up the pins and tried to put them on the allocated spots on the Voodoo doll. However, when one of the pins didn't stick in the spot I thought it was because I'd got it slightly off true, so clicked on it again - and kept doing so all around and in the spot. I'd then move on to the next allocated spot and tried again. I now realise what I SHOULD have done was 'click' on each allocated spot IN TURN (but only click once on each spot). As soon as I did that all the pins jumped into place and hey presto the grill opened and there was the next page. Simple aye? At least I think that was the problem, of course I can't be sure until I finish the game and then start it all off again.

Anyway, thank you all for your patience.

Is anyone else having trouble getting the puzzles to do as they are supposed to?

For the life of me, I cannot get the inlay puzzle peices to turn. I've tried both mouse buttons. I am also having trouble in the egyptian tomb to work. I am certain I've got all the pieces, but I cannot get the knob to turn.

Are there any fixes for these problems?

please HELP ME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've got the same problem and I'm at Chapter 7.
I've read that you need to move from one coordinate to the next but each time get the "nothing happens" message and sometimes can not get the exact coordinate posted (ie: 54N is posted and closest you can get is 54.2N)
I have conquered all other areas (squares/robot/round and round etc.)
What's the secret?????

TomGreen --- remember this is pointing you to ONE map coordinate. Use the two coordinates to find that one spot. You do not click on the two coordinates as you use them. For example if your number is -10 and 20 S....you would move 10 degrees to the left and then 20 degrees South ... and at that point, you would click.
...hope this helps. good luck

I just played the free download because I like the "hidden object" theme, not at all impressed. Hints are useless. To much going back and forth. Just my thoughts, probably a great game for someone with more patience....

After you solve one complete level of games you are taken back to the library and one piece of Titus' portrait becomes unlocked and clear to see. Then he tells you when you read the pages of the book where the magic is. If you didn't read that part then move your cursor around the room and it will sparkle when you are over the magic. You click on it and it will go into the book and the next chapter will open,

Don't add or subtract your numbers. The numbers you have are longitude and latitude coordinates on the map. 150 will be east of the center of the map and 38s will be in the south or lower half of the map. You have to find where those two coordinates come together on the map and click on that spot.

I went into the library at Azada and put my cursor on the 150, 38s coordinates and took a screen shot so you can see where that spot is. I have sent you a message with the link to the picture.

Good luck and have fun!

This game flew under my radar and I just discovered it. What fun. Nicely done and just enough challenges but not over the top. Will definitely be one of my "new" top ten.

This game is a classic. It is one of my favorites also. I go back and play it all the way through ocasionally and it is so much fun. It's like seeing an old friend.

Happy gaming!

What really increases the replay value is being able to go directly to your favorite minigames, and most of them are generated randomly, not just "pick a random one out of a set of 12" either.
