suggestion: remove the islanders that give basalt bits since it's not used anymore.

I don't care, I just don't give them what they want. but for new players with inventory space problem, they will keep them until they know what to do with it and when they come to the forum, try to sell them with nobody wanting them.

X2

When the next event is launched I'm going to be apprehensive about whether or not to give items for basalt just to get stuff to give to Ralfie in exchange for tickets.

Namalthus-I almost never do the character requests that are not for items to increase my storage anymore. I'm at a level where making the amount of items requested isn't worth the reward. Even something as simple as growing 48 apples doesn't seem worth it for a little bit of experience and coins or 2 baskets and experience and so on. If the reward went up as much as the number of items requested, that would make it worth it and I'd do them.

I'd LOVE to see the following (with apologies if aforementioned):

- A way of dealing with nuisance customers, aka raiders. I've got no problem with people buying me out once in awhile - sometimes you luck out and find a market stocked with stuff you need...but when it's one or two or ten players systematically targeting one market and buying them out, it becomes a major game flaw.

- Seeing my inventory when I'm at other people's markets.

- Pearls are WAY too easy to spend accidentally - as has been mentioned over and over and over again.

- We need the ability to follow more than 20 people or a 'quick release' function of unfollowing. As it is now, if I find a market through the notification system I can't follow it without first going to someone's island to unfollow. By the time I've done that, the notification is long gone and there's just a hope I see their name pop up again.

- More varied villager/board requests. C'mon...there are dozens and dozens of products and items in-game. Why am I getting a request for 14 lemons only to fill it and get a ticket for 18 lemons? Or, a ticket for 7 cream; another for 11 milk; and yet another for 6 cheese - all at the same time! I get wanting to make the game challenging - but there's a big distinction between challenging and flat out frustrating. Now, I get that you can rip the ticket - but that doesn't really seem to do the trick...I usually end up with simply with a variation of what I'm trying to get rid of (like a request for 15 instead of 18 lemons).

ABSOLUTELY !!! x2... x3...x4...etc.

This has been my biggest gripe. Especially during events. I'm up to getting request for 36 coco and then as soon as it's filled the board wants 27 more. . same with glue, milk, cheese, cream requesting no less than 15 (usually in the high 20's) over and over. There is only 1 Milk Machine, these requests get old VERY quick and frustrating when you're in an event. You can tear these off the board, but they get replaced by the same.

Same issue with lemons. Even with 3 lemon trees taking 4 hours to reproduce, filling orders for 18 or more and then find the next ticket wanting the same (or more). .

Yes, we can tear the tickets off the board. But if you tear off too many at once they can take an hour to be replaced. Besides, many players don't have the inventory space to try and come up with these quantities.

Cream takes 30 minutes by itself. Glue 15 minutes. How can anyone fill these during an event when sellers rarely sell these items and requests to make these repeat over and over in ridiculous quantities (27 glue followed by 22 more). I became sick of making stew, hot sauce, tomato juice, tomato soup - in quantities of 15 or more (every time). Desperate to see something that didn't require massive amounts of tomatoes.

The suggestion: Keep items at the request board at a reasonable number (10 or less for fruit and veggies, 5 or less of everything else). Have more of a variety of items asked for. I can go an entire event and never see a request for baked apples, potato dish, apple juice, etc. Would like to see more of these simpler items asked for to break it up a bit.

The request board is vital to completing an event (along with the balloons). Players in the upper levels struggle greatly to complete these.

I wish I could SEE my Storage while I'm visiting other islands.

1. That would make it easier when visiting the islands of friends, followers, helpers, etc. because then I wouldn't have to go back to my island to find out if I need that item and/or if I have room in Storage for it.

2. I wouldn't LOSE my ability to buy an item from a stranger's Market simply because I can't see if I have room for it or not.

This is one of the more annoying features, that I can't see any reason for.

Suggestion about shopping in the MARKETS

When I go to my Friends list to go shopping, I can easily go to the next Friend's Market by using the arrows at the bottom of those pages.

When I go to my Followers list or my I Helped list or my Helped Me list to go shopping, if I use the arrows at the bottom it takes me to the 1st one on my Friends list.

Since I can only SEE 20 of my 61 Followers and 5 each of my I Helped and Helped Me lists, that's very frustrating!

I really wish that we could use those arrows on the bottom of the pages to go to the next Market on that particular list.

I've got one more...regarding upgrading inventory...

Why am I given the same amount of tools, plans, or rope for giving a villager a baked apple as giving a villager a picture? Wouldn't upgrading storage be more fair if there was a sliding scale? Like giving a villager a baked apple gets you one upgrade item but the more expensive/lengthier to produce item garnered you more upgrade items.

Unless I'm right at the cusp of upgrading, I just ignore the villager's more expensive demands but it sometimes means waiting an incredibly long time to upgrade storage - and really, it seems stupid to give a villager a picture that costs 282 gold to buy in market or 5 hours to produce (not including 2 paper, 2 pallettes, and 1 plank) - for a random item, I may or may not need, that sells for 10 gold.

I fully agree whit this posting:
katrinaceleste wrote:I am sad to see what is happening to the market in our game. I see that many of my friends are not even stocking their market as much as they were. I know we can go on about the inconsiderate people that raid our markets before our closer friends get a chance but The fault goes to the developers. I'm sorry to say this. I love the game, obviously, or I would be at the level I'm at. I love the graphics the diving, the planting, visiting to see how others decorate, etc.

But here's the thing, BG and/or Bodat we have begged and begged for you to change the way the friend's list is formatted and no change whatsoever. I know you get busy fixing bugs, freezes, errors and the like, but this thing with the friend's list is a really sore subject. If we had the power to add and delete our own friends this would aliviate a lot of problems. We have probably complained about the list more and for longer than other complaints. (maybe with the "coming soon" things a close second?)

Anyway, back to the issue. There are so many problems with the set-up as it is.
1) we are stuck with people we don't want following us.
2) folks that stop playing are still in our following list.
3) Raiders keep doing what they are doing no matter how much we want them to stop. (some may just do it for the fun of it, or to bully)
4) many are leaving their market empty, making it useless.
5) when the raiders stop following some markets they start going to another.
6) some may leave the game out of shear frustration over this market/friends issue.
7) the friend's list hav too many limitations. 20 friends are not enough and the followers list is a big flop. we can't even see them and the one's we see often are not even playing

Once again I propose that we have control over our markets and friend's list. Most games with a friend list let you add and delete those we want. You can add by name or by game ID. Many use the forum to share their name and/or ID to add friends. There are also ways ti visit community mambers in some games to see if you want to add them. I have even seen games where they reward you with a heart to show you are a helpful player.

Please, Bodlat, Please do something about this issue before it completely ruins the game.

When I go to my market and see that someone has purchased something, I would like to be able to click on that person and go to their island.

Peter Panda, AKA flying Rat, is a real problem. He is a flying rat.... Anyway.I decided to post this problem in the developers thread, because it is wrong wrong wrong for Peter the flying Rat to be buying anything that he is not willing to sell to us. That is really devious. There is a list of things we can't get through him and the worst part is he way over charges for what he does sell. It really stinks!!! There are so many problems with the market as it is.

The lack of control over who follows us
Peter Panda buying what he will not import
Limitation of friends is too low
The set up of followers, Friends, help list
Lag in announcements

About the announcements: Whenever you get a message and go to see what a friend is selling by the time you get the announcement they have already sold and replaced. That is mostly the case from what I see. I see other problems with banner announcements. The help calls are all messed up. Often we don't end up where we're supposed to be and have to leave and come back. I do't always get creds for my help visits, not too big a deal, but it would be nice.

Please fix that market before you lose many more people.

I've tried to put the magic fountains away but see there is no option for that. I wish you could put them back like the ticket event items. Even if it's just for a while. Once we start upgrading them we really don't need as many out.

Maybe when the new content comes out we could use them.

I actually stopped upgrading my storage at 700. I just sell the crates as soon as I get them and empty my inventory as much as I can in market, requests, islanders, and balloons. I've done pretty well with that so far.

I really think those crates are more of a problem than anything.
