Here is the solution for this puzzle:

First Bucket: $1.22 +$1.67 + $1.99 = $4.88

Second Bucket: $2.80 + $2.80 +$ 0.50 = $6.10

Third Bucket: $1.22 + $1.99 + $0.50+ $0.50 =$4.21

Fourth Bucket: $2.80 +$1.99 + $1.67 + $167 + $1.22 = $9.35

For those of you who want to solve the puzzle and not just read the solution, here is a good hint:

The cents of the total price for each bucket are the best clue. Start with the lowest total and work up to the highest. Figure out what combination you need to get the last digit of the price (the cents) right. There is probably only one combination that will work. Put the two flowers that get you that combination into the bucket, then add whatever is necessary for the total. the last (highest number) bucket will then hold the leftovers.
