I'm a big fan of the Mortimer Beckett games. Even though they've been around for a long time (2007-2011)...I think there are 4 in total, these games are a lot of fun. I enjoyed The Lost King but actually think it was the easiest of the 4...a little too easy IMO. The game play is a little hidden object and puzzle play combined. The games are broken down into chapters(10-12 chapters?) and each chapter typically has 4 locations to visit. Some of these have a sub-location as well. You're given a list of objects to find that are scattered all over the chapters. After finding the objects, you use them to interact with other objects or characters. While I wish the hidden object part of this game was a little more extensive/challenging some newer players may get frustrated as there are no sparkly lights or other indication of a found object. There is a moving wheel indicating that some type of action is required. Well written story line, nice graphics and sound. I bought two of the games during a recent sale. Wish I had purchased all 4. Thanks BFG for finally sharing these games with us.
