Treasure Masters, Inc.

[Post New]by scotcat on Aug 22, 08 4:17 PM
It came out today on another game site. I wonder if BF will get it? I think this is one I Beta tested and liked it. Can't remember since it's been a while.

I tested this one Scotcat, but never finished the hour. Didn't much care for it.

In all honesty, I'm paranoid as all get out when it comes to downloading games from any site other than BFG. Tried before and had hellacious results with spyware and other garbage.

Hopefully, BFG will give us a demo to try fairly soon.

Yeah Smallhaven--you just never know. Knock wood, I've downloaded demos from a number of other sites and have never had any problems--although they are what I would consider reputable sites. I try to buy only from BFG and the site I started at (though their new client product has some problems--still a very reputable site in my mind).

Since i'm more than happy with BFG, I doubt I'd do anything but
look at other sites. You know, eye candy for the gamer. But I
don't know very many surprise I know GZ, opposite of you
lose, ala opposite of peace, and maybe one or two more I can't
think of off hand. Can you name some for me? Remember, I'm
challenged.

The "spin"ning top. I've used them without a problem, but no gameclub or special deals. Only full price.

Yep, yep, yep.... now I remember. Love the game & going to buy it. I did a review of this game after I Beta tested it, but I can't find it now with the new Forum.

Nice music
Great graphics
HO's & room to room searches as well as "locked" areas.
There will be some little mini puzzles.
Love the way they hide the coins for the extra hints that you have to buy.
At least this game works the old brain cells.
Grandson is some nice eye candy for an extra treat.

IMHO.... two 's up.

PS..... It has a timed and relaxed mode. I suggest that you start out on the relaxed mode. I'm pretty good now at these games and I don't think I can beat the clock. Plus it's just more relaxing that way.

Just downloaded the demo for this, the trial hour went by in a blink, and I couldn't reach for the credit fast enough. BY FAR the most challenging hidden objects I've encountered, and not just mishmashed up (well... not very) or hidden in the dark. Nice clear graphics, puzzles that actually challenge a little. It's one where you need to bounce back and forth using the map to get items to solve puzzles in other places. Use yer noodle, ya know? I reeeeally like this one. It does look like it will be a bit short, about halfway through at 2 hour mark on relaxed mode, BUT as I've said before with my game club membership that's the cost of a movie, so it's all good. Can imagine trying this on timed mode, taking me quite a bit of searching and actually having to use hints on this one!

...but um, what's with the guy with the open shirt?

Bwaahawaaaa

That's the Grandson eye candy I was talking about.

Probably just another ploy to help reel us gals into the game. I mean, who goes treasure hunting in museums and such with an open shirt to show off his six pack? I bet he's not wearing boxer's. Maybe thongs or commando.

OK scotcat--now that picture is in my mind. Got to get over there soon and try this one--been waiting for it. I'll put in my two cents later, but I'm guessing this is a keeper!

I really like this game. It's challenging. I like the interactive maps. Had to use hints a couple of times. Was looking for the snake charmer when my time ran out. This is one I'll buy.

OK--just went through my demo time--hardly believe it was an hour! This one is a keeper, and I'm off to buy it. I agree with the assessments previously posted--HO's are nicely done, love the maps and It is a challenge. Oh, and the eye candy ain't bad either scotcat! By the way scotcat, thanks for the hint on using relaxed mode. I think the timed mode must be really difficult and might have drove me nuts (ok-I'm already there)!

Gee, I guess I'm going to have to do a reassessment here! Maybe I wasn't thinking of the same game? Could it be I was having an OB moment?

I'm sure that is it Gina--I can't believe any game with good eye candy would have gotten by you!

Once I saw what the game was going to be tomorrow, I came right in here to see what you all thought of it. I didn't want it to be a waste of my time. LOL

Now downloading it and will see. I only have 2 credits left, and I already know 1 of them is going to be used on Azada later in the week, so I have to be very careful what I spend the other credit on. LOL

Downloaded the game and recognized it right away. I had played the demo elsewhere and was hoping BFG would get it. And they did.

So much for today's Game Credit. Now I'll have to purchase another one for Azada 2. But that's okeydokey with me. These games have helped me tremendously with the ADD and memory problems I'm challenged with.
