Shadow puzzle in bonus game

I cant work out how to solve the shadow puzzle in the bonus chapter.
The SG says to click left and right 3 times, and bottom once. Except the two side ones are up and down and the bottom one is two sliders so it doesnt add up.

You don't fit the animals to the shadows, you fit the shadows to the paler outlines.
