Endless Game Mode

Does anyone know if there is a trick to this? I get through the first three months just fine, but after it lets you buy things in the shop after month 3 I can't manage to get through month 4. It doesn't even let me go through the whole month, just cuts me off at April 11th.
Does anyone else have this problem? Are there certain things you need t buy to get through this month?

I don't know if you're still looking for help with this, but what's working for me is buying a second oven and second icing machine after level three. I'm not sure why it's cutting you off at the 11th, though.

For the next shopping break, I added the third oven and icing machine, TV, microwave and cake stand. In any level, the feds in black suits, older lady with the cat, rockstars and roadies are all likely to buy premade cakes. The older lady almost always will buy whatever is on the stand, one, two or three layers with any decorations.
