Hi Sarri, The save file saves your progress in the game. So if you exit out of the game, you can start off where you left off by loading the last file you saved.

To save a game in progress, move the mouse to the lower right corner of the screen, and click the "save" icon that appears. To load a saved game, do the same with the "load" icon in the lower left corner. You can also click the right mouse button (or escape on the keyboard) to bring up the menu. Choose "Save" and type a name for your saved game. To load a game, press the right mouse button (or escape on the keyboard) to bring up the menu. Choose "Load" and open one of your previously saved games.
