fairy energy level

what exactly depletes their energy? at first i thought it was when the wander off to do the wrong tasks but then that doesn't seem to be it... i've collectors doing nothing but collecting and sometimes one or two of them lose energy

letting them idle don't seem to replenish their energy... i have no idea how to direct them to "eat" (there's like plenty of food too)... they won't seem to use heal on each other either...

what do i do?... i don't want any of them to die lol xD

Hi BerryFluffy,

I had that same question about my fairies, but I never had to feed them because they just seemed to always have enough to eat. I did lose a few fairies on explorations of the forest, but it didn't go along with any of the supplies I had. If you keep them working and make sure you have enough food, all the fairies should be fine. Also, I believe their energy is just used over time because they will age if you keep them working while you're away from your game. I hope this helps!

Happy gaming!

Yeah, I found out not to leave the game for awhile or the fairies start dropping off. Apparently more than a few of us have been puzzled by fairy energy levels dropping and not being able to do anything about it...

dfranklin wrote:I don't think you can do anything about it (I certainly never figured it out and am near done with the game). It is one of the more frustrating aspects of the game IMO. You have to work quickly with the fairies you have, they die after a few days of play time if you leave it running. The idea (I think) is you are supposed to create new ones with pollen when some of your fairies are getting low on energy, so you have the "next generation". Not really that great if you've carefully balanced out your specialists and now have to start from scratch, huh?

I would recommend not leaving the game in running mode when you're gone. The game is pretty short anyway, so you'll miss a lot of it if you leave it running when you're away...it is not like the "last day of work" games (virtual villagers, fish tycoon, virtual families, etc.) because those are much longer-running games. This one is pretty much over after you find all 4 elements. Hope that helps you decide if you want to buy the game or not, or if you have already purchased it, you might want to start over and change your strategy a bit to focus on live game play since that might make it somewhat more enjoyable.
