The Strange Case Book

I need a pen any ideas? I keep clicking and all I have is a bottle of something. I checked other pages too and only found laundry check paper and a pen that has dried up ink.

Help me please!!!!!

Hi brysweet, you use the potion to switch from the pages on the right to the pages on the left. click the potion onto the guy on the left and the right side opens. You'll need to switch back and forth a couple of times or so.

Thank you, now I need only the phosphorous and have moved and clicked everywhere but cannot find anything to open the crate with. I am stumped because I need the phosphorus to complete the potion.

It's okay......I finally figured it out but thanks for your prior help. Very much appreciated.

How in the world do you play that drop game to make the potion Jekyll needs? The drops move too fast to click on and no matter what shape I draw with the mouse the drops don't get caught. They just fall to the bottom and disappear.

hrslvr_paints - you have to draw multiple shapes so they kind of stack up below each dropper thing to make a sort of valley where the drops can't run out. I found wedge shapes to work the best but it's difficult and took me several tries before I got it right. Once the drop is trapped it will keep growing. You draw three different "traps" for each color, you don't combine the colors.

Thanks! I finally figured it out after like a gazillion tries.

Is there a trick to tracing the signature, I can not do it! I go slow and try to stay on the lines but can not do it, I'm frustrated, Help please!

territ, I slid off the lines in a few places but it still accepted it. I traced it in one continuous signature. Once I clicked to start, I did not release the mouse until it was complete. Did you start and stop, by chance? Other than that, I'd guess it's just trial and error. Good Luck

You have to get the pen first, then go to Jekyll's lab and find the prescription pad in the bottom left corner. When you click on it, Jekyll asks you to trace his signature since he's so weak from the battle with Hyde. Hope that helps.

cynthia, you don't need to refill the pen. You'll find a pen elsewhere in the book.
... Just thought I'd point out something, hope you don't mind. You really didn't need to create a new post. If you look at your post, you'll see a little box in the upper right corner that says EDIT. If you click on it, it allows you to change your message. The little red X allows you to delete your message. I use the edit button frequently to correct misspellings and such. I do try to do so before posting but sometimes gremlins scramble my letters during the posting process. LOL

But then you don't morph as quickly LOL.

I hate this book. I had a hard time with tracing the signature so I don't want to have to replay that but now I can't figure out the drops puzzle. Games shouldn't be this hard. I wish I hadn't wasted my "Skips" so early in the game.
