I'm stuck with Vulcan. First real challenge I have encountered. Any help would be appreciated.

Okay, figured it out.

I have the stick or whatever it is where the monster dude is but can't figure out how to get the mirror from him. Already got shut out once. Am stumped.

HELP PLEASE!!!!!!

Please help me. I can't get the laser to work. I got all the gears turning but it still doesn't fire.

That puzzle doesn't work well at all. Gear will only fit in certain random places ... watch for them to look a bit more solid when you move them around. If they are all turning but it doesn't say that the puzzle is solved ... check that they are turning in the direction of their arrow.

Thank you Staril, one gear was turnimg the wrong way.

Before you can get the mirror, you need to open the treasure chest. Put the picture in the empty frame in your inventory. Go to the monster scene. Click on picture in frame. Wait for monster to look away from mirror and click picture in frame on mirror.

The Gears: gears will only go directly above, below, to the left or right of one already place. So the quarter points only. This one had me fuming.

The Laser Canon: You must position the mirror you got from Vulcan correctly on the floating barrel to make a target flash that is seen from space.

I'm sorry, i still don't get the GEARS thingy ! How do you do it ?? I reallly need help lool !

I am still having trouble with the gears. i can't figure out for the life of me how to position the gears. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Maybe someone can post a pick or something on how to position the gears.

please tell us how. I can't get the gears to work i think i am missing one. Do you have to pick up a "big" one somewhere?

Got the gears can't figure out how to open the treasure chest ...I kinow I'll feel like a complete dummy when I do figure this out, it will be like duh!!! Anyone care to point me in the right directions LOL

you get the "hearing aid from the guy on the moon and put it in the slot on the chest. Can you help me with the gears puzzle?

The gear puzzle is random generated. I played it 3 times and it was different for each. In one puzzle I had 2 large brown gears and several silver. In another 1 large brown and several silver ... plus the locked gears were different.
...It really is a matter of trial and error. The main tip is that the locked gears have arrows. They must turn in the direction the arrow is pointing.

Yeah, the gears game was a real pain in the patootie. You pretty much just have to start clicking around until you can get them to "stick" to the scene...there are only certain spots they will attach to. Sorry I can't be more help than that.

safphyre: once you have the mirror you have to put it in the mirror frame and then stick it in the hole in the barrel in the first scene. When you do that you can click on the mirror and make it move. You have to move it...go to the scene with the laser and try the laser. If nothing happens, go back to the scene with the barrel and click on the mirror to move it and try the laser again. Keep doing this until the laser shoots...this will cause the monster in the last page to get all discombobulated and you can move on from there. Good luck to you.
