Mac Version buggy(OS X 10.4)

There are problems with audio playback in certain sequences.
Freezes at certain points, and has to be force quit.

A constant freeze bug at the contortionist final puzzle (where you drop the marbles on the pinball bumpers). When you solve the blue color, it displays the blue image, drops the yellow crystal, but freezes the display of the bumpers.
This does NOT clear upon restart.

Can I get a refund please, or a credit for an other game?

Thank you,

Stan

Does BigFishGames have a technical support forum where you can get answers, or do they choose to ignore technical support questions?

Thanks

As far as I know this forum is not the right place to be asking. The moderator has been MIA since 12/17/07.

Try the Help tab above with an icon for emailing support as well as general topics about game problems. If you are a Game Club member, sign in to your account to Live chat with a service rep. It is only available from 9:30AM PST to 4:30PM PST Monday-Friday.

Good luck!

Interesting! I have a Mac and have not had the problem you are describing with the contortonist BUT I cannot go to the forum from the main menu and back to the game as my screen freezes then and I have to restart. Also, I am very tired of the spinning beachball of death (I am told that is the correct name for it) as it has appeared far too many times playing this game. If I hadn't a love of hidden object games, I would have given up! Also, for what it is worth, I cannot download the Mystery in London or whatever it is called because my Mac bombs every time. I really did want to play that!

I'm also a Mac user (OS 10.2.8). I've had problems and sent my concerns by e-mail to the tech support. Not through the forums, through Contact Us. The reply I got said they apologized but because of the differences in Mac systems, they had to use Rosetta and this did cause problems with some versions. As a former Apple employee, I know that Apple does not give developers access to all parts of their systems. This causes major headaches since the developers have to use work-arounds to write their code. I, for one, am grateful that BigFish does write games for the Mac (many won't). I use my own work-arounds and have been able to beat the best scores in all of the Mystery Case Files games. As the doctor on HeeHaw used to say, if it hurts, don't do that. If something makes your system crash, don't do that.
