I am really looking forward to playing this game ... thank goodness I am not on dial-up, I think it said 9 hours to download it on that, it is huge: 2,452,874 KB. I wonder if Jez is in it again, helpful little that he was as I am sure I will be needing all the help that I can get.

What is this game like? Is it like the dream chronicle series, hidden object or what? I am sorry for asking such stupid questions but I don't want to buy it and then it not be a game I want or can figure out. Thank You.

me too is it HOG or time managment game,reall want to know about the game,I needto know before i buy.because i don,t want to but something i am not going to like.

They are kinda like Return To Ravenhearst without the H-O's and a LOT harder. It's like being in a movie and doing stuff. Don't know quite how to explain them. I personally can't get my brain to work right with them. You need to be very intuative.

Was all set to DL when I saw NO FREE TRIAL! I was worried like tazmann{ would I like it, be able to figure it out?} I didn't notice the KBs; 2,452,874!!!!! I have Broadband but it is only 1 MB ( and lucky if we get full service) so would probably take at least 12 hours to DL. Will have to pass.

It is a Large File Adventure game ... eg in the first one you started off on a beach with nothing and you were hungry so you had to find food and then find a way to cook it before you had enough energy to explore the island. You come across objects that you can pick up (but you are not given a list of what to look for) and you have to work out how they can be used. There is a lot of wandering around in these type of games but there is no timer so you can take as long as you want to explore and work out what you need to do next. HTH.

I would love nothing else but to help you with this game, o great master of emoticon art

but unfortunately, my strength is not in large file Adventure games and I haven't played this game.

The screenshots look good, let me know what you think of the game.

Unless this is a brand new game, I think I store bought this a few years ago. I think I have the first one and this one just can't find them at the moment.

I am so happy to see Mysterious Island 2, I loved the first one. I think Cherbtoo gave a good explanation of this game. It is very peacefull, just take your time and enjoy

The first one came out in 2005. This one was released June 9, 2009.

I am new to the Forums but not to BFG, waving to you all from the other side of the pond, where its just midday.

I have installed this game, as I loved the first one.

It keeps crashing my PC so badly I have to logoff to get out of it.
Never had a problem before, so have contacted support.

Anyone else having a problem?

Are there three....Mysterious Island, Return to Mysterious Island then this one Return to Mysterious Island 2? Just trying to figure this out. Thanks.
