You know I think we need some more clues. Please Picman pretty please. We've picked over the other ones and now we need some more. Anyone else think so too?

All this mystery and suspense. And now I just read in the Novemberfest thread that we'll have to wait until mid to late December to find out.

I know Windrose it's very sad. That's why I'm asking for another clue to keep us occupied until the release. Pretty pretty please.

Wow, y'all are really good with picman's clues. I admit that I'm one of the infamous "Ravenhearst groupies" ( ), but I have to agree with the people who have said that this game will probably have no more than some sort of teaser as a connection to Ravenhearst, or maybe a hint about Victor's whereabouts or something. I seriously doubt it's part of the Ravenhearst story line. I also agree with purplerabbit that the fact that picman said nobility, not royalty, is important. I'm not sure how, exactly, but the wording of picman's clues seems to me to be very important to the answers. Of course, it's just a thought; I could be wrong, but I just wanted to mention it. Thanks to all of you for working so hard on figuring out picman's clues!
I'm also not happy about it not coming out till December; I guess I'll just have to try and survive until then . . . .

OK I wasn't going to go ahead with this, but since everybody's throwing out all kinds of ideas (and that's a GOOD thing )...Regarding a possible Tudor connection - the crown that is mentioned in some earlier posts looks to me to be the Plantagenet crown (the dynasty before the Tudors for those who actually have lives outside of history books ). Also, someone mentioned WAY back that the image at the bottom(?) of the sign looks kind of like Stonehenge. Well, I agree with that, and when you look up to the rooftops and see a HUGE sun and you remember that Stonehenge was most likely a kind of astronomical calendar (among many other possible uses), well....it certainly does look as though Dire Grove is seriously historic! Maybe we'll get some Druids in here. I know, this doesn't really get us anywhere, but I just wanted to throw in my observations, conjectures, crazy theories, WAGs.....

BTW, the only possible good I can see about the pushed back date is maybe I'll get a birthday present (the 3rd). Purely selfish, I know, but at least it's early in the month!

All you fishies who are smarter and more ingenious than I (and your number is legion) keep plugging away at the clues, please. They're all we've got till sometime next month. And PICMAN, MORE CLUES PLEASE!!!!!

Anybody know what is says at the end of RTR, during the credits. I couldn't catch it all, but it said something about blind mice and 6 o'clock. It was just strange to me as it had capital letters in the strangest of places.

There's Gentry, MO on google map.
Reduce button twice Ravenwood a bit west.

Charles Hughes introduced circus to the Russians back in the time of Catherine the Great.

Almanzo Wilder 's life story is very intriguingly similar to MCF with names.
His wife was author Laura Ingall's (Little House on the Prairie).

Superstitions handed down include "Wolf Peaches" and tomatoes (of all things).
"...stems from old German folklore. It was believed that members of the nightshade family, which includes tomatoes, were used by witches to produce werewolves."

Then looked at Peter & the Wolf. Sonia the duck was a goner to a wolf. There is a Little Red River in Arkansas near the Duck Nest.

One thing is for sure, the author writing these games likes to stay in nearby locations.

The Blog image shows 6/7 buildings/locations...might be a pretty sizable game.

So, Mr. Picman, are we getting warm or cold?

This may not be related at all, but there is an audition video on YouTube by some woman for "Dire Grove Presentation" and a few other things, I am sure it is not related but I just wanted to share

Funny, the audition talks about Celtic legends.........

I think it even mentions the U.K. and one video the character she is auditioning for is cold..... I did not see much mentions of "Dire Grove" so I thought it was interesting. The videos are a month old.

Oh and the car won't start, it's too cold.

Weird I just tried to watch this audition video and it says removed by user???

Yup, not long after the fishies here discovered them, they were pulled. Coincidence or not? The timing sure is interesting. A few pages back in this thread, someone posted a link to descriptions of the videos so you can at least read about them.

My guess? It's hard to say...the phone number the poster listed in one of the videos is in L.A. (downtown, to be specific - I'm a native Angeleno) and maybe she got an acting gig and took them down. But if they were audition tapes for the game, as they could be based on the content, I'll bet they breached some contract or another.

Anyways, on to bigger and brighter topics - like picman's next clue!!!

"COMING SOON", how soon is soon? I wait with bated breath. I resigned from my job, & have found peace & solitude in my computer games, Thank you Lord, for modern technology & time to spend playing with it

Here's a crazy guess. The sign says it's Historic Dire Grove, maybe it is a Renaissance Fair closed for the winter. That would explain the ancient stuff and the circus reference and the nobility.

Here's another thought from left field, maybe DIRE is initials for something:

Dalimar Is Radically Eccentric
December Is Release Event
Daily Irritating Ruminating Entries
Dead Is Really Eternal
Deep In Rural England
Dumb Investigative Report Eliciting

Any other guesses?
