I managed to download the game, but the screen is shaky especially around the borders. The screen is in between freezing and giving double image. What's wrong?
I think we should be credited back for buying a faulty game.

I've had problems with a flickering screen in the game play levels and freezing up sometimes. The flickering gives me a headache. With this game I also get a message about thermal warning.....for some reason it's the only game that I get this warning with.
I love this game though. I guess I should just play a couple levels at a time. I wasn't even playing for an hour though....close to it.

I am getting headaches due to the flashing and "shaky" screen. I used to work QA for software. No way this would go out the door with good engineering. I am running Vista with plenty of RAM and a great video card. I haven't 'blue-screened' but the flashing is getting worse as I play. Grrrrrr!!!!!!

I've purchased the game and played it all the way through without any issues. In the past when I have had issues with games freezing or running slow, I updated my graphics card. Go to your graphics card website and look for an update. Also try updating Java. I don't know if this will fix the problem, but it sure couldn't hurt.

I'm running Windows XP and had no problems with the shaky screen, but, having said that, man-oh-MAN am I having problems! Farm Frenzy One remains my favorite PC game of all time, so you can imagine how much I was looking forward to the sequel. To start at the beginning, every time you open it it takes forever to load. I timed it at two minutes and forty seconds this morning! In contrast, it takes Chocolate Chase ten seconds or less to load, so it's not my computer. Once that happens, I get a freeze every time a new building falls out of the sky, and often when bears fall into the barnyard. When I played the demo downloaded through a link on the Gamezebo website, I had a few problems but not nearly the catastrophe I've encountered with the Big Fish version. Even though I purchased the game from Big Fish, I've deleted it from my system in the hopes that a better version will be posted in the near future. From the outset, I was disappointed with the graphics, which are completely changed from the big, clearly delineated animals with personalities featured in F.F. One, but I thought that the engineering would be as good or better than the original's. WRONG!

had the same trouble, followed the steps in one of the help pages to update my video driver and direct x and voila, the screen is no longer shakey.
It is worth a try at least....
if not, contact tech support.
The wait may be a little longer than usual given Azada 2 came out and it is a holiday weekend.

Hi everbody! I'm sorry to hear about the technical difficulties you are experiencing with Farm Frenzy 2. I would suggest that you contact our Customer Support staff. They are very friendly, and I'm sure that they can help you. I would also suggest that everyone update their DirectX version as well as the drivers to their video cards. I hope this helps. Good luck!
Happy gaming!

Blocky, shaky graphics, random text sprites... all solved with an update of your graphics drivers. Do this through your vendor's websites or, as I did, through Windows update.
This was on Vista, 2ghz, duel-core, 64bit, 2gb memory.
Must admit, I'm very surprised with the amount of resources this game hogs. I normally play huge RTS games with little problems in this regards.
Posting as this is the second result on Google regarding this problem. Thanks MadPoet for the heads-up - you confirmed my suspicions if nothing else

Happy to say I'm experiencing nothing but fun with FF2. As everyone else who posted... My all time fav is Farm Frenzy. I've played it through so many times, but never tire of it. Now I have a new favorite. I'm running Vista with ton's of RAM, but had just recently done my windows upgrade including DirectX, so I am having no problems.
Good luck to everyone else. Pam JS
