greenhouse door puzzle

I had everything done down to plucking the petals. The door did not open. Why not? Then I accidentally plucked another petal. Now my petals are wrong. How do I start the plucking over and then after having done that how does the door open?

As I recall, one of the containers of liquid (red?) will kill the plants and then you can grow them again and re-pluck. But I think the door opens automatically, as long as they are grown correctly (matching the order shown) and the petals plucked right. Hope this helps
