Cubis fans -- what other games do you like?

[Post New]by zenzone on Aug 29, 08 3:37 PM
Cubis is an enduring favoritie of mine.

Other favorites over the years include Chip's Challenge, Hoyle games, Laser Tank; then Virtual Villager series, Super Granny series. Enjoyed Big City series, Ocean Express, Peggle, Shattera, Rebound Infinity, Dream Chronicles. LOVED both Azadas.

There are so many games, and I'm always looking for new ones I might really like. If you enjoyed any of these games, please share suggestions about other games you really liked and return to.

If you want to know more about any of the ones I listed, just ask.

Thanks!!!

I love the Cubis type games too.

Land of Runes is my favorite in this genre. Love the three dimensional views in it. Treasure of Persia is another cubie game, but not as great visually.

Cubis is a classic. I could play it anytime. Sometimes I get 'Perfect' and sometimes not on the same levels. A favorite.

I enjoyed Elements. It's not as graphic or challenging as Cubis but it's not bad. For me, a late night can't sleep sort of game. I mastered it pretty quickly but still enjoy the timed mode.

I enjoyed Farm Frenzy 1 but not 2, the Azada's, the Chocolatiers but not 'Chase', Sheep's Quest when I need cute, Dairy Dash, Megaplex, and Fishdom for a match-3 mood. I bought Paradise Pet Salon, Nancy Drew Phantom of Venice, and Samantha Swift with credits but wasn't crazy about them. I don't like games that require a strategy guide. I had bought Jewel Quest at Walmart for $9 a long time ago. That was a good match 3. You can play some of the older games are at [URL Removed by Moderator] or free but with ads.

Along with Cubis (both) I like Carribean Hideaway, my favourite, plus Hexalot and Paradise Quest, Hidden Wonders 2 and the Dream Quests. Hoyle Card and Board games too.

Hello everybody!

I like Cubis and the other games of this kind, also play HOG a lot.

I was told there used to be a nice game of Cubis style but you could shoot cubes from all the 4 sides of the board. Any ideas of the name? It looked like undersea background, and they say every time it was a unique game, unlike the Cubis-like ones now where the levels are pre-set. Would really like to try that game out!

Cubis-like games are my absolute favorite... Land of Runes is the best. I play lots of Match 3 games and word games, some variety solitaire games.

I love a good Match 3 game... and there simply have not been any really good ones released in long time....

Fairway Golf, as a solitaire game, is a great time burner...

Does anyone know if it is possible to buy Cubis, the original game?
I had it on my old computer about 2 or 3 computers ago and I recently went looking for it but couldn't find it. Don't know where I got it from but would like to have it again.

Thank you, wendylee815, but the game I was looking for is called Aquaslider, itš an old one.
I've got the Land of Runes game though, and it's as lovely as it's preset at every level. Works for me, anyway.
