Yes I have. Please see my post above. The problem is within the game.

The opening scene, the cursor floats around some. Then when it gets to the room with the books to choose, it is better. Then it is ok until you get to the little pig's house, yes, with a fireplace. It is really hard to keep the cursor under control until you finish Fairyland. The next book gets better, but it starts all over again after a few books, but I can't remember where, sorry. When you try to exit, even if the cursor was doing pretty good, the exit scene is hard to exit from, as the cursor floats around. Don't know if this helps, but it is what I'm experiencing on my Vista HP laptop. My HP XP desktop, a few years old, works just fine with the game.

Hello everyone! I'm sorry to hear that some of you are experiencing difficulties with your computer's mouse when playing Azada: Ancient Magic. I would suggest that you contact our Customer Support staff. When you do, it would be a good idea to include a copy of your computer's dxdiag document. You can access it by:
1. Click “Start” followed by “Run.”
2. Type “dxdiag” and click “OK.”
3. The Direct X Diagnostic Tool will Open, click “Save All Information” when it has finished running, and save the “DxDiag” Text file to your desktop.
This document is very helpful for giving our support staff insight into how your computer is running, and may help them pinpoint the problem. I hope this helps!
Happy gaming!

Yep, sounds like the same scenes for me too. The page where it has the "Exit", "Options", "Play", etc. also has a fireplace in it.
It's the fire causing the problems! The designer of the game is now aware of this problem and hopes to find a fix.
What is weird is how it affects some Vista PC's and not others.

I did get an answer from BFG support. Basically it is to follow this page http://bigfishgames.com/help/index.html?rn=515
I did update the Direct X and my Nvidia drivers. Then I was told in the email to uninstall and reinstall the game. I really don't want to reinstall again. This is like the third or maybe the fourth installment. So I haven't tried uninstalling yet. I did try the opening scene and exit again and the cursor seemed better. I will try the game again until I find a fireplace.
I opened several books and found a fireplace in the witch one. My cursor seemed to slow down, but when I went to exit out, it was floating again and it was hard to exit. I am going to answer the email and report all this.

I think it's best that you work with the Technical Support crew, as they are the ones who can actually work with the game developers and come up with a diagnosis.
castellerin wrote:Well I have rechecked all my drivers and they are up todate. My son can play halon on the computer and it is brand new. Now I have found I can't play the 4 elements game either. Same problem, the cursor won't show up. I can play jewelquest 3 and all the other new games. I am out of ideas...........I have uninstalled and reinstalled both games. Anyone come up with any ideas???
thanks Miss clairol
