I cannot seem to put the paper in the drawer, can anyone help me?

I remember having difficulty with the papers too, but so long ago since I played it. Make sure the paper you have is one that is meant to go on the drawer. Look around if there are others, seems some were rolled scrolls too. Not much help from me, just sympathy. Some of those moves are very picky, having to place the pointer in just the right spot. I do know it is possible (but frustrating) like trying to put flowers in vases that bounce back out. I know because I loved that game and played it many times to the end as well as the other one Death on the Nile.
