Cake Street 1 - Confectionery not working....

Im having a problem with Cake Street 1. I purchased the Confectionery but it wont load up any buns to make cakes. Anyone have this problem or am I doing something wrong?

Im trying to load up the buns off the warehouse and try to make cakes...it wont do anything. I cant finish the level until the I have 2 cakes made.

help!

Never mind...I figured it out....I was missing the bag of flour from the plane.....

I'm on this level too, but I only need one cake not two. I wonder why yours is different? I can't seem to get gold even though I've tried it many different ways. My best time was 2:37, but I can't even remember how I did that. I wish someone would come up with a walkthrough for level 26 and above. Someone over at the Game Cafe forum already did the first 25 levels. Oh well, back to it I guess.

I'm at 2:55 on Cake Street 1 and I don't know specifically how I did it but I kind of go at them with the thought of ok what do I absolutely need and if I try it one way and it doesn't work then I try it another.... I know not much help... sorry.

I understand what you're saying. I do it that way too. I keep trying different things until I find something that works, or until I get lucky. I've been shaking it up on this level, but I just can't seem to make it happen. I've had some really bad times with some of my attempts, as much as 3-4 minutes. Oh well, I'll keep trying and hope that I get past it on my own, or that someone takes pity on me and gives me an idea of what strategy to use.

My Cake Street 1 doesn't require any cakes???? Different versions already???

Okay, never mind my previous post--it appears that there are 2 Cake Sts, one to the right and one to the left. Go figure

My Cake St 1 to the right requires 2 cakes with a time of 3:00. I've gotten under 2:30 by buying 4 chickens right away, selling bears and biscuits to get 2 more chickens and the confectionery.

The Cake Street 1 that I'm having trouble with requires 1 Cake, 1 Steak, 1 Milk. To get gold you have to do it in less than 2:20 with a Best Time of 2:13. The best I've been able to do is 2:37 seconds, but that was a fluke. Most of my tries have been much more than that. Since my time is so far off, I must really be doing something wrong.

Okay, take back my previous two posts--there are THREE Cake ST 1s . . . . I found the one you were talking about. I beat it in 2:04 this way. . .

Wait for two bears to drop (brown bears). Trap one to sell for enough to buy the cow. As the truck is off to market, put the other bear in storage.

Sell the second bear right after buying the cow to get money to buy a chicken. You can also send the plane for the sugar/flour/whatever the heck it is.

Before that truck returns, though, the cow will drop a milk and both cow and milk should go to market, leaving only your chicken to take its dear sweet time to lay an egg. . .

When the truck returns, buy a pig.

When the chicken lays the egg, start processing it and click the heck out of the processor to speed it up. Since you're only processing one egg and one ham at each of the buildings, you're not likely to blow any of them up on this level.

When the egg powder comes out, destroy the building to build the meat slicer.

Just click away at the buildings to get stuff through and you should finish with a record time!!

peutetre, thank you so much!!! I have done it that way many times, with the exception of selling the cow after getting the milk. That was the key to getting gold. What a dummy I am! *smacks forehead* For some reason, that never even entered my mind. Without selling the cow, it took too long to get enough money to buy the meat cutter and then process the steak after I got the pig.

Glad it worked for you!!! On to tackling the other little challenges with this game--like finding all the gags!!!! Still waiting on those myself.

I've found quite a few of the gags, but I haven't kept count of how many. They're pretty funny when they pop up. Good luck finding them all.

I actually got mad when the first pig started playing a violin because I wanted a ham!!! I accidentally checked it off by clicking on him to get him back to work

Just drives me crazy to wait for them to appear . . . they just don't seem to be popping up much anymore.

3? The Cake Street 1 I'm seeing has goals of 6 chickens, 16 bag things & 12 cakes so maybe there are at least 4?! Weird. I dont remember seeing so many of one street for the other places.
So I'm trying to do a level that pays a lot so I can get enough to do Costume Street 2. I at least want to get silver on every level & gold on the beginning levels. I came on looking for tips for Cake Street 1. Strange...
