The freezer game in the genie book? I don't remember a freezer game in the genie book. There was a mini-game in that book involving a compass and a maze. Is that the game you are talking about?

put the box in the freezer- after it freezes use the hammer on it to get one of the card pieces

If you mean the connect-the-black-spots-so-they-turn-blue, it's basically a lot like the potion game in the King Arthur book. Try to figure out how to get the unbroken chain. Usually you'll have to carefully plan your way around the blank spots. My first time through, it was easy, second time took me almost ten minutes.

littledude, this is a random generated puzzle so can't give actual moves to solve the puzzle. I can give you a couple of tips. You only need to connect the pipes so that the black dots turn blue. You do not have to connect all the pipes. only one end needs to start on the wall. The other end can stop when the last dot is included in the link.
... If there are at least two or three dots near to each other connect them. Do this for each "group" of black dots. Then try to connect from one group to the other group. When all dots turn blue you've completed the puzzle.
...Hope this helps a little.

Oh, okay..that mini game! (smacks head...duh!) Yes, you pretty much just have to play around with the pipes until you get them all connected. I would do what cesse said and connect groups first and then try to link the groups. I actually worked around the blank spots first, since this is the trickiest area, and then went from there.

Wait a second ... Does this

mean you can change around the starting point to anywhere on the outside wall?

Because that would make it SO much easier!

I think I did that ... I timed out once. I think I changed the starting point when I was working on it the second time .. but just not positive.

I just went back in and ran through the game to test this theory.

Sadly, it doesn't work. You start out with one of them already blue, and have to hook up all the rest to that one. So ... nope, no changing your start point.

The first time I tried to solve the pipes I couldnt do it and time ran out but the second time it was a different set up and I was able to do it then.

IF one were incredibly frustrated because it seems impossible to "get there from here", you could always use one of the orbs down by the "page completed" sphere to skip it. I wish I'd known that before my blood pressure went skyhigh trying to make this mini-game work.

I swear there was just no possible way to make the pipes fit all the outlets together!
