Dr Jekyll puzzle

I think I've clicked everywhere.... but I still have to find the salt to complete the puzzle. Any hint on what I should do?

With this puzzle you have to keep switching back and forth between the two characters using the switch potion. Forgive me here, because I don't know which character is which...one is the regular guy and one is the monster looking guy.

You have to go to the bedroom in the regular guys story and pick up the laundry and meal tickets. Then give the guy the switch potion and go to the hotel registration desk page in the monster guys story. Give the meal ticket to the bellhop and he'll tell you your dinner is in your room. Switch again and go back to the bedroom where the meal tray is now waiting and pick up the salt. Then put the salt into the machine. At least I think this is the way it works, if memory serves me correctly.

In the bedroom is a form with laundry and dinner on it. You have to check both and give to desk clerk. then go back to bedroom and get salt from dinner tray. I don't remember if you might have to switch a couple of times here.

Thanks Cesse: I forgot about having to check off the forms first before they can go into inventory. You pick up the pen to do that either in the bedroom or from the hotel desk...don't remember which one.

Yes, there is a lot of switching back and forth in this book.

I am having a problem tracing over the mini puzzle that is on the desk of Dr, Jekyl's desk which will be the prescription anyone have any ideas of the easiest way to do this and not let the pen up until finish?. I find that this is hard to do help!!

It dosent have to be perfect- just try to finish

My signature wasn't perfect, so I think it will still take it if you stray just a little bit. But the trick is definitely not picking the pen up,otherwise you have to start over again.

For those not fully familiar, the regular guy is Dr Jekyll, the monster is Mr Hyde.

The pen in the hotel room is dried out; you have to switch and get it from the hotel desk.

Move the mouse slowly, and just keep holding down the button until you finish. There's a little bit of wiggle room; I'd be hard press to forge it with an actual pen, let alone a mouse, so just make sure you stay fairly close to the line.

Oh, don't worry, it's been so long since I read the book, I rememberr it better from watching League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. (Which also has Captain Nemo, the Invisible Man, and a vampire!)

You may have to switch from Dr Jekyll to Mr Hyde. As Jekyll you only work with the pages on the left. As Hyde, you can work with the pages on the right.

Give the change potion to Dr. Jekyll, go to the last page. The pen is in a cup on the desk, just to the right of the concierge.

for anyone stuck on the puzzle with the ball going around the maze. i took everyones advise and went really slowly so tks everyone for that. but what i also found that helped was if i plot my route before i moved the ball at all. hey that rhymes.!! happy gaming everyone in this wonderful fish pond.

where do i get the key to open the drawer that is in the shed?

help! I used the pen to write out the prescription, now I can't use the pen in the bedroom! When I click on the bedroom sheet, it keeps telling me we need something to write with! I'm confused!

Hmm- did you first click on the form to enlarge it, then click on it with the pen?

We'll start with the assumption that You have clicked dinner and laundry on the form in the bedroom in the left side, and have gone back to the right side of the book and have given the form to the desk clerk.
...open left side of book. go to bedroom pick up salt from food tray. click on pocket of suit and pick up key.
