Weird Physics?

Is it just me, or are the ball physics on this game really erratic?

I could never figure out exactly where the ball was going to bounce when I angled it off the paddle!

I have to agree. They are definitely weird, especially the glue shots which might go in any direction at all. It would help if there were a manual which explained how the various objects that are caught affect the shooter ball.

That's exactly what I am here looking for - wish there was a listing and images of each falling object and what it does.
I've been catching all that I can, just to see the effect - some, not so good...
