Treasure book diamond puzzle

How do you get the treasure. I've been clicking on the diamonds and nothing seems to be happening. Did what the instructions said but cannot seem to move any of them. What am I doing wrong? Been on this same puzzle all day and ready to pull my hair out. LOL

what you have to do is move your mouse to form a box around a group of the diamonds and it has to be so that the same color diamond is in all four corners. Click on a diamond and, while holding the mouse button, move the mouse so a box forms. Once you get a box where all four corners match in color the symbols on the diamonds will change (go away). The objective is to get all of the symbols to disappear. If you get stuck you can wait a few seconds several of the diamonds will start flashing, showing you where to draw your next box. Good luck.

grannynoo, Think of the pieces as tiles. The goal is to eliminate all the pirate tiles. You eliminate tiles by forming squares or rectangles. The rule is that the same color tile must be in each corner. For example, select a yellow tile. Click and hold, then move up to a yellow tile, across to a yellow tile, down to a yellow tile, and back to the first yellow tile. Release your mouse. If it was done correctly, the tiles will disappear.
One other tip, when you mark a square, all 4 corners must be the same color. They should flash once the square/rectangle is made.
