help with fireworks

For some reason I am not able to use the fireworks in the game nibiru. It keeps saying I am not ready to use them. I have done everything that the walktroughs said to do. I saved the game after i taked to everyone and bought the matches and fireworks. When I go up to the guard or guiator player it says I do not need to talk to them. Go to store and it says do not need anything. I don't understand why I can't set off the fireworks. can anyone help. I do not want to start over. I hope it did not mess up when I saved it. thanks. bout ready to abort this game.

Hi, Ccintrouble, don't know if this will help you, but be sure to use the fireworks exactly in the old man's chest, not anyplace else. I had that same problem and when I put the fireworks on him, worked. Good luck!
