Bonus Stage 3

Okay, so this level is giving me a complex! Despite having beaten the entire game and harder bonus stages with yellow flags, AND playing this "easy" level probably about 30 times, I cannot get a yellow flag. Any help out there? What were your strategies?

Please help me stop feeling like a huge moron!
