Chapter 7 - The Library

Help!

I can not get the coordinates to log onto the map on the Library table. Can anyone help me?

Hi and welcome to the pond!

This one took me a while because I wasn't paying close attention to the coordinates. You have to make sure that the number that appears on the left is either positive or negative. If it has a negative sign make sure that the coordinate on the map says negative or you will be looking for a while. The coordinate on the right make sure if it says North or South. For the longest time I thought the "s" was a number 5...lol

I tried again but if the number is 44N I can only locate 44, 0. Help me please !!!

Ok take a deeeeeeeep breath LOL We'll figure it out alright? I promise, I'm a chronic insomniac and have nothing else to do! LOL

I worked it out. I needed to combine the two coordinates i.e. D -136 and L 66S becomes - 136, 66S.

Now I have to get through the rest of the Chapter in the allocated time.

I understand co-ordinates on a map. And I know how to intersect those co-ordinates on a regular map. For one thing there are usually lines to follow. Howver, I dont know how to get to the one co-ordinate to click on it to get this puzzle done. Can someone help me, PLEASE???

The simplest way to explain it is to just combine the two numbers you have as a code and make it one number. If your two numbers are 94.0 for the first one and 15S for the second then your coordinate is 94.15S. Then you find that coordinate on the map and click on it and you get your scroll. If your numbers are 96 for the first and 12W for the second then your coordinate on the map would be 96.12W. Find it on the map and there will be your scroll.

Hi, and Help! I'm stuck in the library -- have been for months. With help from the forum I've figured out the coordinates, and click once on the map, but don't get the scroll. I even re-installed the game and started over from the beginning. just wonder what I'm doing wrong. I really am sure that I'm on the right coordinate pair. Thanks for any help you can offer so I can finish this great game.

You have to make sure that you are including the minus sign if one shows up on your two sets of coordinates.

Say your first coordinate is 165.0 and your second one is -97N. Then your coordinate to look for is -165.97N. If your cordinates say 96.0 and the second one says 97N...then your coordinate number would be 96.97N. You have to pay close attention to those negatives and positves and directions.
