The Descent Book

I guess I'm a real dummy. I used the magnifying glass on the secret message before I had collected all of the items from the professor's office. Now I am stuck on the decoding page, cannot decode because I am missing items, and cannot get back to the office. The dummy part is because I did this once before, and started the game all over again in order to do The Descent the right way. Oops. Does anyone know how to get back to the office so I can get the rest of the stuff I need?

lol- don't feel bad- it took me a while to get out of it as well.

I did the same thing with the cryptogram ... I had clicked back on it after I finished it, and spent three or four minutes trying to get out of it so I could take the pipe off the wall!

Maybe someone canhelp me,I feel really dumb,but the mini tile game in Descent is giving me problems.I get down to 1Or two red,but can't get all.I have moved them allover the place,With the sides touching what ever they are supposed to,And so far no luck,is there any other tip I can get to finish this book?,I have done all the other things I can do ,But I am stomped on this game.Please Help me!I have checked out the tips from the book on gamezebo,and still no luck.

This is a ramdom puzzle, so there is no one solution. Start with the larger numbers first and work your way out.

Hi there. The tile at the bottom has a 1 and is locked in place ... so, you need to start there and only one tile can touch it. Move all tiles to the far left to get them out of your way. Now, pick another tile and place it next to the one. If it has a two, you can only add one tile. As you do this, each tile will turn green. If one turns red, figure out how many sides are being touched and either shift it or remove it.

Light up the "blocked number" first (to get it out of the way).
Generally, keep 3s together.
Remember that all the tiles do not have to be contiguous. There might be 2 or even 3 different patterns (with space in between them).

Hope this helps. (I have replayed this a few times, but a different puzzle is presented each time. You really don't want the *exact* answer anyways, do you?)
