I really enjoyed
this hidden object game with some puzzles. It has lots of neat environments from around the world. It seems like you are on some sort of path trying to find your way around the world to get to Everest but it doesn't seem to matter because the game just keeps going. The picture layouts are nice and the hidden object areas aren't too hard but it is challenging. Hopefully you won't squint too hard into the screen to ruin your eyesight! Between sections there are additional HOs or a puzzle to put together or countries to be put on a map. I ran out of time on some puzzles but it didn't seem to matter except for increasing my time. You do get some bonus Everest scenes opened up for being the first team in each area to find the hidden objects - although I didn't make it all the time and seemed to get all the scenes opened up anyway by the end of the game. You get three hints per area and can get another hint for finding five gems. You can get additional time by finding a timer in each scene. You might as well use up most of your hints in each section and try to be the first team rather than straining yourself too hard. A lot of the scenes tended to be temples and interiors of temples - one occultist area, some Hindu, and some Buddhist I think. The apparent connection is that Buddhism is the religion of the area around Everest. But some temples looked like some sort of alien worship center. I wasn't sure what the whole point of that was. Perhaps aliens created Everest and were there first. Not sure. Any way, there is a log book where you can see clips and pictures from a famous mountainers' log book - its very cool - although I love Everest stuff. Some people comment on the "secret" items to be found - it seems to keep people playing the game until they find them all. I think the objects to be found may be randomized too. Overall, I really liked this game - definitely worth the $6.99! Other games I liked were Diner Town Detective Agency and Zulu's Zoo. This one's a little less cute with more occult stuff but all three are fairly long to give you good value.
