Safe and the secret room...

I got into the secret room in the library, and attached the light to the radio. I also put two vaccume tubes into it, but now i need something to talk to the ppl on the radio with,,, What is it, and where do I find it?

Also, what is the combonation for the safe and where do I find that? Ive searched everywhere and I cant find anything that gives me the combo to get in... HELP!!!

open the safe by clicking left arrow to get 28 to be under the top arrow, right arrow to 11 and left arrow to 49. hear a click and then click on safe handle. if mistake is done, go back to saved game

oh thanks a million re. code. i kept trying all sorts of combination from the codes on the telegram, yet none worked. where did you find these numbers though?

once you get through the safe door, you will find a microphone in the drawer. but i am stuck now and don't know how to arrange the letters.
