why does it say !

when you finsh a book ,it come up story contiues in eg- 3books .1 book or no books .that sounds to me that we should have had more books to open .i done them all once this game seems to have been very short

That's just telling you how many more book puzzles you have to complete before Titus starts speaking to you again.
