Help Please Deduction

Hi all back again to one of the oldies but still seem to have the same problem I get stuck in the deduction part I have two figures at the right and have 7-8 correct it will not let me go back has anyone else had the same problem. I just want to go back to the map and get more clues.

The only thing I can suggest is go to gamezebo website- they have a walkthrough for this game there that might give you tips.
