floorboard puzzle!! help!

hello everybody!! how do you solve the puzzle box in the floor?? i keep going round n round trying to figure out the 4 letters... help please!!!

hello i tried ELSY and i still can't get the puzzle box open... am i doing something wrong?? do i need to do something before opening the box i missed?? i appreciathe the help! thanks

If you have not found the item that gives you this clue, it will not work. It is located at Adam's home.

What items do you have and what locations are on the map?

i have the photo, flashlight, pen, keys, n one more thing i think.. on the mab is the herb garden, kiosk, katarina's, st olof's school, the water garden, the house, my house, and the musuem... thanks for ur help

Sounds like you need the floor plan. I think the key in under a photo on the wall in the livingroom. Take the key to the office and open the drawer. To open the puzzle box, you will need to go to the museum. The puzzle on the wall is easier than it looks. It's just a memory match game.
