They give Ean skills and can increase his attack power.

I usually run around in Behemoth Mode once Ean acquires that one. His Plague skill is very handy in mixed group battles and I think most baddies are susceptible to it.

I would use the vampire one with the wolves and the guards because the curse skill is super useful.

I also find the Behemoth mode to be most helpful. In my experience, the curse skill used with the vampire has a very low rate of actually cursing the enemy - and it isn't a spell that works on the whole party, so you take the chance of cursing only one enemy and it rarely works. Behemoth's plague skill works on the entire party and usually leaves a plague on at least 1 of the enemy party.

Running on pure assumption here, the nearest one for you can be found outside Ravenwood in Oldwoods. There is a mission that involves helping a Wild Woodsman capture a Wild Beast. Two transfigurines and triggering a major portion of the games plot-lines will be your reward for success.

so that means i have to beat the wolves for the first time in white pass without any transfiguration abilities or having gavin. What level do you have to get up to for it not to impossible to beat these things? I have all my party up to fifty and i'm still getting killed instantly. It has taken months for me to get this high and im getting really annoyed that i can't do anything else in the game.

Does Lya have the Phoenix Song Sphere? She can get it from Wildwood Forest, it's on a pedestal there. She can take it from the pedestal if you have 10 karma points. You can get these points by donating money to the statues in the cities, and from two side quests (turning Herbert back into a man and giving grandma nora her love letter). The spells she can get from that sphere are very effective on the wolves.

If you have Nicholas, use his sun spell or lullaby spell on them.

But if you're level 50, surely you must have come across a few transfiguration statues along the way? The Behemoth one is inside the volcano. As mentioned before, his plague spell is very good. Have a look in your items menu for them!

I only have 3 karma points. Where is this volcano in the game? Where do u find the love letter and when do u get the herbert quest? I haven't been to Seri yet so if its after that then it doesn't help me.

The volcano is on a island on the bottom left side of the world map. You need to get a boat to get there. The love letter is in Seri and you get it by helping a boy get his lover back for the sultan.

I think you have quite a bit to do before being ready to go into the white pass and fighting those wolves! The white pass is for very late in the game and there are numerous areas you haven't been yet. You should go to Ravenwood first and get started on the beast/Herbert quest. This takes many steps, some of which on different continents. Ravenwood is in the south of the main continent - walk south from where you got off your canoe with Rye. Also go into the Shadow Woods there - you need to do this for the Herbert/beast quest AND you will get a stick of dynamite, very important.

When you're done in Ravenwood, go back north and through Green Weed Plains until you're back near Thais. Then go east from Thais into the Greystone Pass, which you now can do with your dynamite. There are three huge new areas leading off from there, and two new cities - Seri and Bogwood.

Just FYI, the love letter isn't in Seri. It is a quest that's also very late in the game. You will need it for grandma Nora once you've spoken to her in the underworld, she will tell you where it is. But you're not nearly there yet.

Just forget about those awful wolves for now!

Raven Wood is in the south of the world map, south of Thalis. White pass is in the north of the world map next to the city with the heart shaped houses.

Here's a tip: if the monsters in a new area kill you in one blow, you're probably not meant to be there yet!

At least a lot of the game should be quite easy now you're already at level 50!
