Glad to be of service, and thanks for the welcome! I've been working at Big Fish Games for several months now, but just joined this fine team of moderators! I originally hail from Lynnwood, WA and moved back recently, but have lived all over the U.S. I've been a gamer for most of my life, starting back in the days of Space Invaders. I hope you continue to enjoy playing our games and talking about them in our wonderful pond as it just keeps getting bigger!

Happy gaming !

Welcome bfgBering!

I may be new to BFG, member since 10/17/07, but I can say this pond is the friendliest school of fish I have ever associated with.
Thanks for the work you do and thanks to the leaders of the class for your continual guidance.

bfgBering, I am soooooo old. My oldest son used to play Space Invaders and was pretty good at it too. OMG! My son will be 40 this coming Valentines day.

Interesting. Now tay is the "mom"?!

I'm curious tay's mom...

Why do you... Allow your child to participate in a forum predominately adult? Allow your child to engage in adult conversations? Allow your child to be rude to adults? Do you not monitor your childs internet usage? Why isn't your child using game forums created just for children on childrens game sites? Are you not concerned about the pedophiles and perverts that peruse public forums seeking out vulnerable children? And why are you using the childs identity? Why not one of your own?

Look, I don't know who you are and nor do I care. For all I know, tay is neither a child or a mom. Just someone who trolls forums creating discordance amongst its members.

YES Smallhaven! My sentiments exactly! If I got one more PM from her, or one of these other "youngsters", I was gonna have to throttle somebody! bfgBering, a "minimum age requirement" to join the forum would be GREATLY appreciated!

That would be appreciated from me also. With all the PM's with nasty remarks and reading some of the nasty disrespectful posts from some of these young ones, it almost makes me shy away from the forum. I know others feel the same way too.

I know how you feel karenplop. My son turned 40 in June and that was his favorite game.

You know you can't just pull out a new gray scale. Ten more will grow back.

*note to self, don't keep pulling out gray scales!*

I remember the god old days of spending quarters in the video games. My favorite one was PACMAN AND MISS PACMAN.

It did not help that a block away from my house for several years that there was an arcade where I coud spend hours playing games.

I was surpised a few years ago when I went to a laundromate and they had a video game there.

I also agree that an age limit would be welcomed on this forum, but you know now a days how people will lie about things(especially age) to get on to things. I do not know if there will ever be a way to control this on any site.

Welcom to the pond bfgBering
