the magnifiers, when in the captains cabin

I can get all but one, and when I hit hints, it just flies up to the left upper corner, and I do not see anything there. in the other walkthru at the other site already mentioned by others, I see a number of people having that issue, but the only way to fix it was to start over on that chapter. Any one had any experience on that one?

Are you in the wall cupboard when that happens> If so, it may be telling you to exit and go into the main room.
