can't the ruby out of the stove !!!

i've tried many times to get the ruby out of the stove in the infirmary !!! tried picking up with the tongs- no luck is there a trick to it like bluebeard's castle (the puzzle were
touchy) !!! ??

please tell me, i don't want to start over !!!
