I finally - and I do mean
finally finished! Yeah!!! Just wish there'd been a bit of a fanfare at the end - figure I deserved it

I love this game and I can (and have) played it for hours on end.
The trick to finishing it is to have as many power ups as possible when you get to the final board. I had 16 timers, 3 hammers and 6 spades. I think I also had a couple of lamps. Having plenty of extra lives helps too - I had 18. As soon as you start the final board, start to move the pieces to the right as soon as possible, but do them one at a time if you can - it gets really hard if they're all bunched up together. Once I moved a piece far enough to the right that I could then just drop it down I'd bring the next piece along. It takes patience and lots and lots of practice.
I've decided to replay the game from the beginning on many occassions just so I can build up my power ups, but - if you decide to do this - pay extra attention to the boards that have pieces that you need to move across before you can start dropping them down. If you can get good enough with these earlier boards, the final board is easier.
Just stick with it - it's a great game and very rewarding. Can anyone suggest another match 3 game of this calibre?
