Train won't move after completion

I seem to be having an issue that no one else is having. I have completed everything required on the train including the wheels and all the parts but after interacting the gears and the light puzzle the train won't move. I notice in all of the walkthroughs I found the gauge is moving and steam is coming out of the pipe but it's not doing that for me!
