lost city of z

can anyone help me find the z tile as i keep trying to cut the vines as it tells me and i keep getting that annoying random clicks message?

I kept clicking ... got that stoooopid message about 10 times before it finally picked up the Z tile.

I had to get everything else and then use the knife on the vines to get that tile.

I'm at the beginning of the game and can't find the scarlet macaws. I've used hint and where it scans I still can"t find it. Used hints many times and it changes the scans I guess after so many tries but i can"t find it. I know the general area and what it looks like but still cant find it.

If I remember correctly, you use the camera on the scarlett macaws. You don't just click them, you take pictures of them.
