Gold chest reveals points not museum pieces

During the last few days whenever the golden chest is opened all I get are points. How do I get the game back to where I win museum pieces?

In case you haven't received an answer, I found that when you hit Connect, and are in rooms where you can chat, you only receive tokens instead of museum pieces. This will be ok once we have collected all the museum pieces and can still have fun playing the game without the challenge of collecting. Just Hit Play and no the Connect button. You're basically playing alone. You'll notice that when Ally gets caught in a trap, it is only you who has to get her out of it with only 5 cleared columns. Gool luck.
