azada chapter 8 - 3 blocks in a row

I have been trying to get past the 3 in a row. I had 20 minutes left with this page and 1 more to go. Do you have to do 3 in a row vertically and horizontaly or as long as they are connected in some way. Before this chapter I just connected 3 in any way they were connected. Chapter 8 I click on 3 in a row for 20 minutes and had to start over. Even though the power tube was filled it still did not give me the page I needed to go on. Can someone please help me. Thanks

You don't move anything in this game. If you see 3 symbols that are the same, you click on each one of them. They will go away and then others will fall into place. If you can not find 3 of the same that are connected, click mix at the bottom. You have to clear all of the ones with the different background.

Click on 3 neighboring tiles of the same color to unlock the tiles underneath. The neighboring tiles can be side by side, top to bottom, or diagonal, just as long as a side or corner is touching. When you clear the tiles underneath, they go from light grey to dark grey. To win the game clear all the underneath tiles on the whole board. They all have to be dark grey.
Good luck!

"Whenever I click on three adjoining tiles, they go away, and sometimes advance the timer bar, but others slide down from the top. None ever "turn gray". What is it that I don't understand? AH! I see it now - the background of each square turns a darker gray, even though there's a brightly-lit emblem on the square. I'm just slow.

The three in a row is my least favorite of all the mini games. It will eat the time off your clock because it seems like it goes on forever. The process bar goes very slowly. I usually just make sure that I have an orb to skip it. It's not hard....just time consuming and quite boring. I love all the other ones though.
